A Few Suggestions Before You Start

Whether engaging in a Sound Healing session, Guided Meditation, or contemplative practice, please ensure that you are in a safe and comfortable environment where you are unlikely to be disturbed. Creating a supportive setting can help the body and mind relax more deeply and allow attention to settle more easily.

Sound Healing Sessions

Especially during the first few sessions, it can be helpful to lie down comfortably on a bed, sofa, or floor, or alternatively sit in a comfortable chair. You may wish to have a blanket nearby, as some people notice changes in body temperature as they relax.

There is no need to make anything happen. Simply allow yourself to be curious, open, and receptive to the experience as it unfolds. During a session, some people notice sensations such as warmth or coolness, tingling, muscle relaxation, digestive sounds, emotional release, or falling asleep. These experiences are common and may reflect the body’s natural process of settling and self-regulation.

Occasionally, memories, emotions, or thoughts may arise. If this happens, try to observe them gently and allow them to come and go without resistance. It can be helpful to take a few slow breaths into the abdomen and imagine the breath flowing down through the legs and into the ground, helping to restore a sense of stability and presence.

After the Session

After any meditation or sound healing session, it can be helpful to allow a few extra minutes before returning to daily activities. Especially after Sound Healing sessions, the body and mind may benefit from a brief period of integration and rest. Rather than getting up immediately, it can be helpful to remain seated or lying for a few minutes, take a few conscious breaths, and allow yourself time to gradually return to the activities of daily life.
